Predicting the near term future is both fun and risky. Several regulars on this thread appear to have lost their grip as a result of this obsession. Unlike Shue, at least Port may be shocked back into reality by the magnitude of his success. And Jack is still acting weird.
I personally believe that the short term trading range (top at 3.5, upsloping base)has been taken out. I really don't think that the past trading patterns have any bearing on the future because the business transition is finally at hand. It seems that the conditions that lead to the last few years of trading will yield to an increase in fundamental valuation, and hopefully an emotional/momentum valuation as well. As Goodboy mentioned recently, in his own lighthearted way, it is time for a substantial valuation adjustment, and it may come fast.
