IBM may have ended down because there was a rumor floating around that it is buying PSFT.

>>>Most important is the fact that SUNW, IBM and others ended down for the day is not exactly bullish in a market that is up 3%<<<

Haim, you can't marke the market with a couple of stocks, not all are exactly in phase with the broader market.

this could mean a buying opp on sunw & ibm - this is a bullish gap to new highs with lots of momentum - volume, price and internals.

The price high will be on weak internals - not now.

We need a vix below 17 and bears below 25% (30% on II today)

too many doubters to call any kind of top. You gotta buy amazon for the long haul, then the market can top or we have to get another bullish Newsweek cover.

JUST THINK ABOUT THIS!

If you would have stayed in the market till the "Married to the Bull" cover came out and sold everything and gone to cash or bonds and then went 200% long when the "Crash of 99'" cover came out . . . you would be silly putty rich.

forget rsi, obv, stochastics - Newsweek is where it's at -g-
