Only CPQ and DELL up when looking at the major box makers

Good point. Maybe I should get outta the box makers altogether!!

I'll relax a bit, but the andrenalin flow has been rough today and CPQ stands out in my portfolio for the wrong reasons.

Still long, but not strong.

Ya...................but with a difference of over 2%..............
I have been hoping that people were starting to view CPQ in the same light as DELL................not in the "box maker" context.....
but in the context of...........were going to beat estimates this quarter!
Guess were not there yet.

True, but IBM was up 6 5/8 yesterday and has had a *70* point run since October. It's also been stronger than CPQ on a percentage basis over the past few months.

I put a bunch of my relatives into CPQ in the twenties, and started lightening up their positions today to protect profits, just in case. I agree with Richie's comment that this stock 'trades funny' in that there have been several strong market days when CPQ is flat, then the stock takes off on the weak days. Strange, but a 3/8 gain is pretty pitiful on a 233 point Dow day and 350 point equivalent NAZ gain.
