Brightpoint Inc. (CELL) 16 13/16 +2 1/4: provider of innovative services to network operators and equipment manufacturers expects Q4 earnings in the range of $0.22 to $0.24 a share, excluding charges, on sales of $495 mln to $515 mln; plans to take a $0.24 a share charge for the discontinuance of trading division and an additional charge of $0.12 a share for distribution shift; company comfortable with 1999 EPS estimates; according to First Call, CELL is projected to earn $0.24 in Q4 and $1.04 in FY99; see press release.....
