This are just my opinions.

My guide is AMAT. In late 1997 before the AMAT split, I remember that ASMLF was trading 106-108 vs AMAT at about 90-93.

Considering the demise of the 300 mm for now, I believe most of the equipment upgrade will be reducing the line width to 0.25 micron and below. Several announcements had been made on this and what really moved ASMLF lately was the announcement by the Koreans to move forward with the 256 DRAM. Taiwan will follow and so on.

I haven't seen orders posted yet but I believe we will see significant ones in a few weeks.

Going back to AMAT as the guide, If Alex Brown was targeting AMAT at 60, I believe ASMLF will be at 70 or more.
