I'm not a lawyer, but that seems like a truly meritless lawsuit. If I understand it, these clinics are going after Compuserve because some groups went through Compuserve to access public data bases. I suppose if they had gone to DMV to get the same license plate data they would have sued DMV? The freedom of information laws cut both ways, and haven't they heard that the government has sided against censoring the internet? I can just see it now, you can access any data over the internet except for license plates LOL
