Isn't it amazing how those who were calling for a retraction at the start of the new year have suddenly gone silent?!! Come forward ye seers of future lore.
The name of the game here is NEW MONEY, plain and simple. There's no new news regarding IPO's or anything else for that matter that would affect the price this much. It's mostly retail (small) investors as we can see by the percent of trades at 500 shares and under. That's not good news and we'll see a retraction that will be just as severe as its rise. This will probably start, at the latest, by mid Feb.
CMGI is now being mentioned on Bloomberg and CNBC as an internet leader, along with AMZN, YHOO and AOL, for the first time. Don't read into that info too much b/c there really is no justifiable reason for why those stocks (except maybe AOL) are trading where they are and CMGI, should it shoot for PLUTO will become VERY RISKY and ultimately have a day where it will lose 30%-40% in a single day (unless it can come up with EARNINGS that justify it's price). So don't kid yourself!! If internets get hit the way the biotech craze did in the early 90's, CMGI will get hurt........ badly!!
Until then try and ride out the waves with some drammamine.

P.S. If I am wrong (on any of these counts) I'll come forward and admit it which is more than I can say for some in here!! (unfortunetly)

Good Luck,
Jon
