Another question on volume for anyone kind enough to offer an opinion. I've been following IIN for awhile, otherwise a boring stock but tends to perform with the S&P.

Recently hit a new high and retraced slightly and the past week has been increasing substantially in volume (318%) with little change in share price. Stochastics seem to be on the virge of turning up. I'm thinking about a potential breakout, but it doesn't seem clear. Any opinions are welcomed.

High Volume and increasing price is bullish. Low volume and increase in price isnt a good fondation. Now if you have high volume and a falling price that is a bearish signal and a possible down trend. With this market so far we have high volume and an increase in price the industrials and transports. The transports are rising but they are a couple hundred points away from confirming the industials. So the question is Will the transports confirm and reach a new high very soon or was this a rally of timing where all new money was just dumped into the market because of new money from 401 k's and such? We shall soon see.. Anyone have some more insight????
