If that isn't a crap shoot, what is? When is the bounce over? Today? Last week? Next week? And someone here said AMZN was a good short Monday, before the split. My God! And LT, yes, yes, yes you made a good call in the summer. But now you say the market is still DOWN??!!!!??? After all the indexes make new highs, that is when you will accept defeat? Talk about lost opportunities. And that little ditty someone wrote about how NEM or gold has broken it's downtrend today? If that isn't denial, I don't know what is. Well folks, I have come full circle here. Having been a long term investor for 10 years+, I started playing cute games trying to time after accepting all the warning signs that the market was in trouble. Saved my butt then. Now I've lost my clothes for all the opportunities I've screwed up trying to make quick trades. Yes I would have lost on the oils...but CSCO, INTC and those general mutual funds would have more than made up for it now. Back to buy and hold for me. And the time it would have saved... I'm not going back in now. I'll wait for things to cool off. But once I do, I'll do a engine check once a week and leave well enough alone. Sorry if I sound PO'd, but I am. Not at you 007, or anyone else here, just at the whole mess and my failure to recognize reality. Thean, good luck with your renewed trading Monday. I hope you make a thousand 1-2 point profits. I'm goin' for those 10 baggers over 5 to 10 years. Can we say CSCO? Expensive now? Yeah. Where will it be in 2005? $100 a share like today...yeah, after 10 more splits. <H>
