news: Wednesday January 13, 1:43 pm Eastern Time Company Press Release Trim-A-Lawn Corporation Announces Shipments to Mass Merchandisers UTICA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 13, 1999--Trim-A-Lawn Corporation (TLWN, OTC BB), today announced that it has begun shipments of their walk-behind trimmers to two of its major customers, TruServe Corporation and Ace Hardware Corporation. Trim-A-Lawn expects to sell to over fifteen national and regional mass merchandisers during the 1999 season. In 1998 the company sold to eight mass merchandisers. TruServe and Ace Hardware combined have over 15,000 retail outlets nationwide. Shipments to other mass merchandisers will be made shortly. At present, the company has a significant backlog of orders with delivery dates through May 1999.
