It depends on which firm you placed your indication of interest with.
If it's GSCO or BTAB, I usually hear from them by 10pm the evening before the open. Smith Barney and DLJ Direct, I don't know -- never dealt with them.

If it's Wit Capital, you probably would receive an email by midnight the eve before the open.
