SF, usually afterhour instinet trades are reflective of news coming out after the bell and therefore an indication of next day trading. Nothing happened for DBCC as far as I know, and there were only 2 trades when I checked ... so it really doesn't mean anything - sometimes I've found that they aren't afterhours at all - just a glitch. This is not a good example of post market action imho.

As some of the previous posts suggest .... next week should be better - best not to look too often in the meantime !!

After hours trade is not always a reliable indicator. I happen to see it on Quote.com. If that is a true trend (the volume was only 1700 sh), then if tomorrow opens above 18, we will have a gap up. Nevertheless, sometimes after hours news (such as earnings report, merger news etc) do drive after hours trade, and that will indicate how the stock will open.
