suggest you post 20 minutes before open, but let us know what sector it's in now so we;re somewhat prepared. Isn't it a good idea not to buy right at the open if bid up so much, but rather wait for a pullback?

Tim,

New to SI but not to investing. Find this thread to be both informative and entertaining. Over time, I have developed into a position trader, and I have noticed you have as well. I generally hold no longer than six weeks. Anyway, do you have an opinion on BRYO? It's a relatively unknown growth stock in the IT area, and it has seen alot of buying over the past month. TIA,

VV

I agree re: scouts.. S/I is a bit more important than most people give credit.. Tmex thread, Market Gems, and No Hand Holding are probably right on the top of the list as well.. your a marked man Tim!!!

CMGI was my last internet hit for a while (yes I keep saying that).. Im going to start building a position in AMD... If it holds 26 3/4 ill be positioned heavily.. Criticial time right now, but if we can move above 30 just before earnings on the 13th it will blow straight into the 40s.. There is a LOT of money that built a position after the great earnings during our little correction that wants to rape it for all they can..

AMD is a great company, and while everybody spends all day bidding INTC into the high heavens (and yes, rightfully so since its been a lacky) AMD just gets left in the dust..

what a week coming up next week.. AMD, INTC, AAPL, MOT, SEG... Im praying for alot of disappointments.. however, its crucial for AMD to beat estimates this quarter and they will.

Anyhow.. im done for the week pretty much.. I see no trading opportunities from where I sit right now and will sit and wait for something to give one way or another, wether it be negative or positive I dont care but dow 10,000 would be ridiculous without getting thru this and next quarter to give us guidance.. The market has once again become a glorified casino and its silly..

Also im waiting for the oil sector to take one final step back so I can get some nice trades off there as well.. Dunno if they will pullback but if not than fine- i miss out, but if they do pullback it wont be for long.. These things are cheap! RIG, RON, MRL, BPT, FLC, SLB, VTS,

also watching FOX.. why is this dropping?!?!? anyone? help?

its snowing.. time for a walk.. I really need to relax.. internets leave you shaking hours after the market closes wether you win or loss.. its pathetic..
