'Growth area' Looking at the Internet rally, Lehman Brothers analyst Brian Oakes said, "I think these are [mutual] fund inflows. People are looking at the Internets as the next growth area, and they are buying that growth." Prospects for growth in the Internet industry should in turn boost related technology industries, especially software and semiconductors. In his quarterly update for clients, influential Merrill Lynch analyst Tom Kurlak said "the surge in Internet-related business activity has been unprecedented in its rate of acceleration. Sorry guys I think we all suffered when this stock goes up and encountered losses but also I made a killing when Yahoo and AMZN got trashed in Sept 98 and that easily helped me to counter some of the losses I suffered in October. Then I just gave up on the internet stocks focused my attention on other stocks which I actually bought. But seriously when people like Day Trader and others are simply going out of control that simply adds up to the fact that there is correction brewing and it is going to happen very soon. I bought some puts on AMZN and the stock rattled of 10 points today but I lost only 3.5 points on my puts. So don't give up on this overpriced monster. Good Luck and Best Wishes Raiders
