voop, I can access any ISP home page through my @Home cable via Comcast. I have configured on my desktop four portals, @Home via NSCP, @Home via IE, MSN via IE and AOL via NSCP. It allows me to try 4 different systems. You can easily change your address by going into Internet Options on the computer.
I love cable. I had AOL and MSN before but went to cable for the speed. However it is ~ $400/year and I don't know that you'll have too many folks wanting to spend that much. Lower end market with 56K ISP may be all that a lot of people need since a LARGE No of people use the PC for e-mailing or chatting etc were speed is not that essential. I bought AOL stock for it's overall value and potential. I believe braodband will be resolved. And that day AOL may go up 15 -20 points, GG,

TA

Laugh....I gave up half of the MSFT to hubby....but got 11K shares of C...so not a bad deal...mmmmmm...

I found Netscape Communicator cumbersome....so if I "had" to learn a new system.....I sampled both and IE4 and IE4 won...

My clients....would no sooner know how to set up POP3/STMP sections on their Internet mail...as fly to Pluto.... but they are clever in other ways!!...and they pay well...smile...

Yes...I look at other sections of AOL from time to time....check out travel bargains...(my other love)...

Also...I met my "true love" on AOL.(April 95)..and that is enough to keep me a "lifetime member"...lol...although chat rooms bore me to tears now..

Bought some more NSCP this morning....by the way....(NSVP= .45 AOL)

Yes....I use @Home to access AOL.....Just setup your aol to go through a lan/proxy server....it is blazing fast...(I use wingate)
