well, I went over what Madera has, step-by-step in this post...Ray Fernandez has stated that Madera's timber holdings are worth BILLIONS of dollars, but putting that on the books is problematic. What the auditors chose to do what lump the land all under one category, without taking into account how much of each species is on the land.

Is this a worthy investment or not? I know that is the question you ask. I can't see how it isn't. I can't help you with what each board foot of wood costs...John T. Hardee is the man for that.

Hi Pdolphin, Book value is: shareholders equity/number of common shares. ~ 38,000,000/72,000,000 = ~$.52 As reported in any profile you see of this company.
