Cirruslvr, that was a good summary of what's ailing AMD stock right now. I'd add one other negative: disbelief in AMD's ability to continue to grow earnings in 1999, especially with new products (K6-3 and K7) replacing the old. I say this because Prudential, which has one of the highest street estimates for Q4 ($0.30) has an estimate of only $1.05 for all of '99! What do they expect? An earthquake in Texas and fire in the Dresden plant?

It may just take a little time and good news about K6-3, K7 and Dresden to make them realize that a company that could earn half of what Intel will make in '99 (per share) is worth half its stock price.
