Jan. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Ascend Communications Inc. (ASND US) was reiterated short-term ''outperform'' by analyst Christin Armacost at Everen Securities. The long-term ''outperform'' rating is also reiterated. The stock has new intermediate and long-term price targets of $83 and $94 per share, respectively.
