To me, your revenue figure seems low, considering Apple did almost $1.6 B a year ago with only 650,000 units (and no OS 8.5 revs).

Don't forget that a year ago Apple was still selling peripherals.

Apple also sold about 100K expensive G3 servers (and the rest of the line wasn't any cheaper). Nowadays a good half of that million units sold are billed at under $900 each, thus the low revenue estimate.

I'm leaving SF today. I'll hit a few VARS when I get back to LA and try to find out about the whole pricing structure these new machines. I don't think dealer's margin has changed but it's important to confirm that.
