One theory to support put selling, rather than buying, is that the closest support, such as it is, is at 90 for the stock. On a P&F basis, stock would break four previous bottoms, where it had previously reversed up.

Plus, how much cheaper could the 90's have been relative to, say, the 110's? Both way out of money, if he really thought it might break 90, there were better plays. Definitely a seller, IMHO.
