This is probably the best scenario under the circumstances. I would even like to "pony up" for my share but I'm sure I will not be given the chance. That Loral will raise enough cash to buy all the G* new converts should not be lost on the other partners.

Vman:

Early results seem to indicate that the street is not too impressed with the money movement by Loral and G*. Granted the price run up of late has been pretty good (with no news) and a pull back was to be expected, but the scale of the pull back for G* looks steep to me.

On the whole I am surprised at the extent of the move G* has had this year given the complete lack of good news.

Loral has, on the whole, had a deficit of good news this year as well.
It remains to be seen just what good news is required to get the stock moving again. If it is to be a G* launch, looks like we will have to wait until the Delta launches, I have only a minimal amount of respect left for the entire Russian launch industry. IMO we happened to be on deck when the system finally ground to a halt. I would like to be wrong...

I am still convinced that Loral has its sh-t together and I am awaiting the next announcement which will show that big things have been in the works over the past months. Too many things have been slipping to the right, I would not be very happy if all these months have been spent treading water. The contingency plans should have been made in advance of their need, show me what you guys have been doing lately.

Looking forward to the acquisition announcement.
