Theres some speculation in Psft today regarding a pending acquisition (either IBM or Sap, they say). It looks like something is going on because the stock was completely dead until yesterday and then a few large spikes from 19 - 25 (where it is currently). I think an IBM buyout would affect oracle stock adversely when first announced. Long term Im not sure if there would be any affect.

Q3/Q4 pipeline is in VERY GOOD shape...
