Jen, a few words about conferences, I don't want to give the wrong impression.

I pick stocks based on fundamentals and entry points based on technicals and overall market context and initiate trade positions based on these factors. Conferences are just icing on the cake that can fuel momentum from the herd, they are never the sole reason for a trade unless I am doing a quick scalp for a few points. AAPL was a scalp for the MacWorld Conference, I don't like AAPL as an investment and hence would not hold it for any length of time.

If you come across the drug conference, please post back. I am long PFE.

As for the biotech conference, the SI biotech threads may have some information.
