I agree with you. The transition phase and the high DOW has to do with the commerce on the internet the additional sales AOL have given the internet the boost. . The problems however is the internet at present is open to a certain group.
The average person is working very hard to make ends meet. Internet shopping is not a priority on their list.
One must abstract oneself form self to see beyond.
Housing is due to tax savings.
The current condition of the yen will effect us negatively. Lower Yen has the potential to increase exports but that will be offset by the increase in import price.. This I firmly believe.
Technology is cost saving a higher US dollar combined with the premise of NAFTA still seems to me more logical..

The EURO is negative to gold at present in my opinion Germany has tried to maintain a stable environment the advent of the euro combined currency it at present thought of as second US dollar. I feel it will also be inflationary being another form of paper currency not only be pegged to nation but world.
