Tom, re:I mentioned the drillers the last time as good bottom fish plays. Or is it you want me to run it up?

No, no, as we discussed one time, they usually like to point out that your picks have gone down. But you called SLB a couple of months ago. Well, if one had bought SLB a couple of months ago, they would be happy.

About NY. I'm on the other side of that hwy - the (truly) left coast <G>. Next time you're in the LA area, I'll be there with bells on my toes <VBG>. Are you ever in LA?

Tom,
I've put my reservation in for your seminar and am anxious to hear you speak for the first time. I spoke with this Peter Sullivan and he made it pretty clear to me that they are looking for people "who are open to suggestions" from their brokers. I was forthcoming with Mr Sullivan telling him that my reason for attending the seminar was to hear you speak and that I was not really interested in a sales pitch. I'm not a BSer and I didn't really tell him what he wanted to hear. I probably should've and would saved myself some aggravation. He said that he was spending the money out of his own pocket to cover the cost of the seminar and he did not want to pretend that this was strictly an educational opportunity for the seminar attendees.
I so very much want to hear you shoot the breeze on p&f for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, however, I'm very wary of the sales pitch from First Republic that will surely follow.

If there are any other NY p&fer's planning on attending Tom's seminar, I'd love to meet you and say hi.

Take care,
Bruce
