Thank you for prayers for Steve and Renee, they are already receiving a new peace, a new vision for the future, renewed hope ; but continue to lift them up along with their two small children. In Christ.gregor

Jane, Tom, and Gregor

Thank you.
Jane, I agree with you concerning the rituals in many churches. Indeed they have their reward. I've seen a few places where the sermon lasted less than ten minutes in an hour service! Places so luke warm that I felt like doing as in Rev.3:16
We are free in my home church of the ritualistic approach for the most part. Our pastor is one of the most loving full of grace men I know whom I've learned much from and I see God speaking through him repeatedly.
I feel like shouting for joy when the Lord leads me into a different lesson contrary to what I had prepared for the adult Sunday school class sometimes even just the evening before service and then I hear the Pastor preaching on the same thing or using the very same scriptures. His word is going out from the pulpit with God's direction.
Regardless though we've hit a wall and I want that wall kicked down and trampled underfoot. We need labourers for the harvest. I'm hoping we are poised for that "glorious blaze" of which you speak.
I know that revival only comes by the Holy Spirit breathing life into the church.

D.M. Panton said "Revival is the inrush of the Spirit into the body that threatens to become a corpse."

Laodicea says "we need nothing"

God bless. John
