Fred, I really don't know who might be the supplier for 3Comm, nor do you, I suspect.

I think it is unlikely to be VLNC for the reasons I've already noted.

I have no idea whether it might be ULBI, or even if they could produce such a battery. However, they reportedly said at their annual meeting almost a month ago that 20-25 OEM's have had their "final" samples for 3-6 months. Presuming ULBI makes a battery to meet 3Comm's specs., I would think it more likely they would purchase a battery they've been able to test for months, rather than one which they may be getting about now for testing.

And Fred, when you talk about samples they received a year ago, I presume you refer to hand-made prototypes from Nevada. As you recall, the S-3 dated 12/21/98 says "no such production samples have been provided to any OEM."
