The "No Hand Holding" thread says that OMPT is going to get bought-out for mid-20's by either BT or BEL.

BT is a potential buyer- BEL seems highly unlikely for regulatory (FCC spectrum cap) and strategic reasons. Lots of other companies seem more likely IMO.

I though OMPT was up huge today due to MCI/WCOM potentially entering wireless which not only makes them a potential buyer of OMPT if ATI falls through-but also we are finally getting some news to pressure huge shorters to cover before getting burned. Because of the huge short positions in OMPT, a short squeeze could be likely.

Other opinions on todays huge move??
