Steve, they aren't. And congrats on waiting them out. I saw the same box advertised at one of the Offices (Max or Depot) today for that price and I thought, my that's cheap. <G> However, holding the crap in inventory costs a ton of money, too. Especially since sales are nosediving.

Steve, great move I saw that ad as well. so cheap i wondered if it was the old bait and switch -g- so early after Christmas too. I don't understand why so cheap when Wall St tells us PC demand is so strong -VBG and hohohohohohoho Mike

Funny--my daughter (home from college) and I were looking at the ad this morning, and she said, "You just feel like going and getting one just because it's so cheap." It wasn't all that long ago that a single hard drive could cost as much as the whole machine.

I am waiting for a Toshiba laptop 2515 to hit about $900. Seems stuck at $1200 with discounts.
