Tom, A vision of hell would help the church, to see what we are missing out on by God's grace. We are in a prophetical time of luke warmness yet the Lord tells us we can change and buy refined gold tried in the fire. Many is the time that I have been convicted by something someone like the atheist you mentioned has said. I pray that conviction and a sense of urgency rest upon us all for the lost. Dr. W. E. Sangster wrote "How shall I feel at the judgment, if multitudes of missed opportunities pass before me in full review, and all my excuses prove to be disguises of my cowardice and pride?"
