This is a new paradigm Rob. Earnings, pe's, ps's, pb's, none of it matters anymore. We are now moving beyond those silly concepts like "value". <ggg> I hope this helped.

With a PE over 105, doesn't that freak ANYBODY out?!
Yeah, PE's are important. "Thestreet.com" is quoting the PE at 86.4
quote.thestreet.com, so, as you can see, everybody has their own numbers. I won't be surprised to see Cisco go to a PE double the present one.

Just MHO...
May be blowout quarter is expected... They have been pretty consistent, however may be this time they won't do the usual 1 cent above the earnings but shock everybody and do more.
Usually they acquire two companies per quarter. So far it has been Selsius and Pipelinks; charge for both would be between $.03 and $.06 each. They can use the jump in their stock price and instead of a split buy somebody else...

Yea, the PE is a little rich for my blood, but in the long run, it won't matter too much and the current price is _cheap_. Nonetheless, I decided to take my original investment out of CSCO that I put in two years ago (which is up almost 300%) and make a payment on my student loans. I would like to get those paid off before I graduate!! Anyway, I am letting my monstrous profits ride for a _LONG_ time....

Justin, who hopes to graduate in two years <gg>
