JohnD, I don't mind if it goes down 3 dollars today (seems unlikely though, IMHO). Next week the techs will fly! I think by the end of the of the week, we will see big rallys in the big cap techs because the smart investors will want to get in this week -- a lot report earnings next week. A lot of people are expecting great earnings (including me) -- By the end of next week, we should see a big jump in MSFT and IBM because they report in the following week( 19th ), that is , people will want to get more than 2 or 3 days before earnings. There are a lot of short term momentum investors that want to be part of the "earnings run-up" -- and it will be an awesome one!! LOL!! BTW -- there is no asia problem--no problem with the dollar being too strong and hurting exports--euro effect.
