unbelievable there is now a shortage of dram. shortage of Rdram i understand. this should certainly help keep prices (AND ROYALTIES) up.

A Soundview analyst is unable to confirm this story from multiple sources but the info is from a reliable source, according to the analyst:

A large Asian DRAM mnfr (Samsung) has notified its distribution customers that it is not accepting 64M orders. The supplier is supposedly having difficulty satisfying demand.

Anticipation of much better than expected MU earnings, is the reason for the large MU price increase today, Joe said.
