Can you point me to Crammer's explanation, or summarize it?
I think I understand why it has gone up, but I'm having trouble understanding why it does so indefinitely.

Cramer was never short AMZN.

He did state he bought AMZN puts at one time.

His position changes so often most comments made by him are not useful for investment purposes.
