Ken -- The concern which keeps nagging me is based on the following statement from your post. I'd love to hear from a wide range of companies stating that not only are they y2k ready, but that they have also isolated themselves from any foreign suppliers who may have problems.

If I can find any such info, I'll post it as fast as I can. Otherwise, I remain concerned about statements about how we're ready, but *they* will have problems.

It is a global economy. Parts and pieces come from everywhere everyday.

Do alternative sources exist within our y2k ready borders?

Can foreign suppliers/customers be counted on to be ready and do their part to keep the global economy flowing?

international failures are likely and could have a significant impact upon
areas that rely heavily upon cross-border operations.<<<<
