he talked about "ethics" Bill in a general sense, and yet there was some question as to whether he used family connections to avoid the draft in Vietnam (or maybe he went and had a desk job I dont remember). His father was Nixons Dr. or something like that. Dont quote me on this, I will look up the facts.

Lungren used the "character" issue to smear Clinton in particular, as well as Gray Davis and Democratic supporters in general. Well, the party that he belongs to is not exactly the standard-bearer of character either!

By his continued chattering about "character" and his continued association with his Republican hypocrite friends, Lungren himself is either a hypocrite, or a fool, or both.
