Hogger: I really have absolutely no idea what's going on here any more, but I like reading the thread.
There really is some very funny posts here by both sides.

As far as your back goes, I have heard that (crazy as it seems) if you do sit ups, (when you are better) it actually seems to be a kind of a preventive against it occurring again.
Apparently
the sit ups strengthen the back muscles also, and this has a very beneficial effect.
I would check with your doctor though.
