>>But for a larger group, we need flexibility of the phone system to be able to put people on hold, to let the phone ring or to transfer calls. How would you solve it with Nextel?>>

Joe:

Nextel does ALL this and MORE.

Check it out yourself.

Jozef, there's just my wife and me on my "group" and I don't have those problems. While I've never had to do it, the NXTL literature says that you can:
1. Toggle up to three phone calls at once. The phone will prompt you when calls come in and you make your choice whether to take the call or let it go to voice mail. If you accept the call, the 1st call is placed on hold.

2. Forward calls either conditionally or unconditionally.

I'm not aware that you can "transfer" calls on any digital wireless phone to any random wireless phone, whether the same wireless telco or otherwise. Enlighten me. Here's a url from NXTL's web site which gives comparisons of features:

nextel.com

And, finally, here's a Sprint-PCS url which explains their services (notice that there's no reference to transfering calls.):

sprintpcs.com

To sum up, I don't have a clue why you need S-PCS, especially when NXTL has DC and S-PCS's coverage is limited compared to NXTL's.

Joe do you know how to work the phone if you want it to take a message just push the button no and it will take a message it also has a hold button for incoming calls on the second phone call. You have caller id so you can decide if you want to take the call and if your in you office just hard forward and modify your soft forwards to what you want.I smell something fishy here guys.BEAR
