Mike and all --

Amazing.com is closing in on $500 per share on a pre-split basis! I thought the Oppenheimer guy was on drugs, but as it turns out his 12-month price target (or was it 2-3 years out? HA HA) was crushed in WEEKS!!! I am numb, I am so shocked by this market.

MB, how about some puts? I am drooling!!!

Michael, fwiw: I have noticed the weekly Sunday CPU adds are running out of free give aways. last summer and fall they were giving lots of stuff stuff (free after rebates).
I have been away for several months adding a second story to my house. did you catch this drop in cpu? also any short or long term thoughts on EWM? AMD seems to be coming back to life a bit, any thoughts on their struggle against the evil INTC? :)
thanks

Mike, I ran across this article dealing with companies selling puts on their own stock. In this case, the Microsoft CFO is responding to alleged handling of the proceeds in the financial statements.

microsoft.com

The original article is in the "Financial Engineering" link.

It appears that proceeds are not reported as income.

Regards,
Bob
