Anthony, regarding NITE, pulled this from EDGAR. Form was filed 7/08/98

Each of the Company, its directors and officers and certain other
stockholders has agreed that it will not offer, sell, contract to sell, announce its intention to sell, pledge or otherwise dispose of, directly or indirectly, or file with the SEC a registration statement under the Securities Act relating to, any additional shares of the Class A Common Stock or securities convertible into or exchangeable or exercisable for any shares of the Class A Common Stock without the prior written consent of BancAmerica Robertson Stephens for a period of 180 days after the date of this Prospectus.

If I read this correctly, NITE's officers are eligible as of tommorrow to file 144's to sell their shares. They hold about 42m shares with only 10 million outstanding.

Would you expect to see 144's filed soon?

I had a very different experience on the phone with Anthony,
in contrast to what I've read on this thread today: I had
shorted SKYM early on the massive runup to $48, and not only
that, I had taken a bigger position than I should have. My
fault, my trade. After seeing it go against me almost 20
points, I decided to call Anthony. He was concerned, and helpful,
and offered me very sound advice. Feeling more confident, my
head partially screwed back on, I shorted more at $40. Got
busy with other things, and received a voice message later in
the afternoon, when SKYM had begun falling, from, you guessed
it, Anthony, calling to check up on how I was doing. How many
people do you know that would be that concerned about a
virtual (no pun intended) stranger. In the end, I
covered in the mid $20's for a sizeable profit.
We are very fortunate to have him sharing his insights.
Thanks again, Anthony, (and Tom and Auric as well!)

Anthony;

Do you think Sara Lee is a good short? This news came out late this afternoon.

CDC: Meat Outbreak Killed Eight

Atlanta (AP)--The death toll has climbed to eight in a bacterial outbreak linked to a Michigan meat processing plant, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Thursday.

The CDC found listeria contamination in an unopened package of hot dogs handled at the Bill Mar Foods plant in Zeeland, Mich. A different strain of the bacteria was discovered in unopened packages of deli meat produced at the plant. Bill Mar Foods is a Sara Lee subsidiary.

The outbreak has sickened 50 people in 11 states since August, including two women who suffered miscarriages, the CDC said.

Last month, Sara Lee recalled several brands of hot dogs and cold cuts.

Healthy people can usually fight off the bacteria with no more than flu-like symptoms. But listeria can cause meningitis or blood infections, particularly in pregnant women, the elderly and people with weak immune systems.

***VRIO*** Many Internet stocks have few barriers to entry (translation) - competition. However, those companies that CONTROL a niche of the Internet market will face very little competition, because the barriers to entry are high and thus these companies will profit and their stocks will appreciate tremendously. Let's look at some examples:

NSOL - they are the Internet directory - THE .com, .org, .net people
CMGI - the Internet incubator and Internet mutual fund company
VRSN - they ARE Internet security
VRIO - the World's Largest Domain-Based Web Hosting Company

Have a look at this recent press release:

biz.yahoo.com

Remember, it wasn't that long ago that NSOL and CMGI were relatively unknown compared to AMZN, YHOO, etc. Now NSOL and CMGI have been discovered and their stocks are about to split and trade in the $200 range.

Investors are always looking for the next undiscovered gem and VRIO is it. It is also ranked by Jenna at Market Gems to be one of the top Internet stocks for 1999.

While VRIO currently trades at $30, don't be surprised to see VRIO at $100+ in the not too distant future!
