Jeena:

As a fundamentally good but beaten down stock - where do you rate BA? I think it has been a top pick for 1999 from someone big like Sir Templeton.
Also any further insight on EGGS?

Thanks

WSJ: Heard On The Street 01/07 --Makers of Athletic Shoes and Apparels Rebound Following the Settlement of NBA's Long Lockout

The settlement of the lockout brings joy to the NBA fans as well as boosting the hope for Nike, Venator Group, Just For Feet,
Finish Line and Boston Celtics. Fay Landes at Salomon Smith Barney who was the one to predict the slump of NIKE in 1997
and in December 1998 began recommending NIKE to his client.
US basketball related sales represents 15% of Nike total sale: a basket ball playoff could help the sale pickup.
It is a $3 Billion for the basketball shoes and athletic wears in 1997. But in the last two years, teens shifted their preferences to
brown shoes over expensive basketball shoes. Venator went from a high of 27 in March to 5 3/16 in December.
Nike falls from 52 11/16 in June to a low 31 in September which was the time that the lockout began. It is thought that the shares of
these companies are beaten down and will rebound as we head for the Summer Olympics of 2000.

So you're company has become an Amazon Associate? What a joke...read on! This story talks about ZAP and the other companies releasing news that they have become an Amazon Associate....now you know the scam.

zdii.com

I noticed tons of companies in the last few days trying to zap the public into thinking they were big shots. They all claimed to have been selected as AMAZON ASSOCIATES...turned out it was a new form of P&D. What a joke! The stocks would go up and then right back down.
