<< Screw em. They've been disintermediated. Fired.>>

Amen brother.

P.S. I like mutual funds only because they churn the market. These are the biggest scam on the planet, because these guys can't even beat the index.

the tulip comparison is being made by "wise" wall street types with a stake in high brokerage fees, disempowered investors, and business as usual. Individual investors are bidding up AMZN, YHOO, EBAY, etc at 8$ per trade and it kills them. Screw em. They've been disintermediated. Fired

Close. Any "financial planner" who recommends these irrationally priced stocks should be fired. It is caveat emptor for the individual investor. Jake, you are truly being irrationally exhuberant, imo. If you are a long-term investor, then buy good companies. If you are a trader, then you gotta decide not only when to buy, but when to sell.
