Actually King Bernie has been saying he wants into the wireless business for several years. There was a WSJ interview where he had stated that he was looking for a profitable wireless player to round out his business. As I recall, CDMA and qualcomm and George Gilder were also mentioned in that article although not in the same context.

Knowing Bernie, he wouldn't settle for anything but the best.
