Beeb, seriously now, let's all take a deep breath. Let's assume that the pundits for the nets/nuts are correct. So AMZN becomes the WMT of the net, the Harley's of the Highway, the COKE's of the pops, the Kleenex of the tissues, the Kotex of the tampons, ok? Even if it sells every single book that was ever sold by Barnes and Noble and Borders, they still shouldn't be valued at this price. Ok, ok, so they're selling CD's and cashews, or whatever. Big freaking deal. It doesn't cost much to set up shop to sell crap on the net.

Market cap of AMZN is half of GM and half of MCD. How's that for craziness? If LT's guess is correct, when AMZN hits 300 again, it will surpass GM and MCD's market cap. Go figure. They can keep splitting this stock till the cows come home and it doesn't make them any more valuable. This will make BreX look like child's play.
