slow in the last 3 years ... they were weeks away from a major financing when the shares were at a few dollars and then BRE-X hit like a ton of bricks the junior mining industry.
so they waited it out ...
they can do that, not much overhead and the parent company, the Lang Group of Companies will not let this baby die. The private placement will give the money required for drilling and/or the overhead for quite a while.
so no progress is not necessarily bad ... many companies halted the private placements, thus , halted the projects that would have taken place following the world's biggest mining fraud.
... and yes, your right anything can happen in this market as we see daily ... but high risk, high return ...
and, as a shareholder, i rather see them drill a litttle and increase their reserves and/or watch the price of gold go up (nearly $4.00 US today). Then the shares should appreciate enough for a decent private placement to get everything going. Shareholders would rather see that THAN have someone give them 14,000,000 $$ US
based on .25 cent stock and see the dilution go out of whack !!!
