One Way for now, but... I live in Rockville, MD, and just signed up with the local cable company for high-speed internet service. It works great, and I'm getting downloads at 10x my former speed. The major drawback is that it is one-way for now, which means I need to keep my phone connection for the uplink. But it's still worth the additional $70/mo. for unlimited service. Same problem for SPDE (ex CVUS), but the technology is there for two way links in the future. Just needs a little more time to establish standards.
