add - I think you're right about the 3Com battery not being Valence, but I disagree with your numbers in a possible price retracement. A CLOSING under 7 1/4 before the Feb 4th meeting is highly unlikely IMOH. I'll be keeping tabs.

Add, I see no evidence that other Li Poly manufacturers are "ahead of the game" in batteries suitable for the Palm V application. Moreover, I see no speculation regarding the source of the batteries on the two most popular ULBI threads as implied by your comments. Also, it sometimes occurs that ULBI tracks VLNC as it has for several days prior to the Palm V speculation. This has occurred in the past and is a sector effect probably due to VLNC's "pull".

<<<The contract will come on April 15th>>>

As long at it doesn't come on April 1st I guess it should be O.K.

add: You're nuts if you think this weeks action
is people expecting a Palm contract. VLNC may not
go further up but I'll be very surprised if it slips
back down as easily as you predict.

I agree that there is absolutely no proof that
the palm story is related to Vlnc. It does in
any case add to the growing case that li-poly
is going to be BIG starting before the end of
this year.

I smell a lot of money out there and will be
very surprised if Vlnc does not end up as
a very big player.

The stock is much stronger now than it was
before the 12/21 crash. Which btw, was
largely a margin related shake-out. I should
know - x0,000 shares fell out of my tree that
day and I have since heard of many more, as
was pretty obvious to those who were forced to
sell that day. Never mind. I am fairly confident
the upside potential is very big and payday
come soon enough. I can afford to wait.

I really doubt that those who sold so much at
really low prices on 12/21 have the cash or
the fearlessness/stupidity to margin themselves
to the hilt again so soon. Hence i believe that
the market risks are quite a bit smaller, tho
you never can tell, can you?
