scanshift ... DBCC's trading pattern so far has been pretty consistent with expectations, based upon previous scenario's. I have watched it more than I should, and it looks very strong. Tomorrow should be strong, plus Monday morning. Monday p.m. & Tuesday may see a dip, but this depends upon announcements about the timing of the IPO and whether DBCC has gained enough to encourage profit taking. Wednesday, again dependant upon price, there may well be a surge - and the extent of the surge will depend also on the publicity the issue is getting, and the mood of the internets/retail investors. If it gets a momentum wind behind, fundamentals won't matter as people will just be buying the momentum, not the stock. That may carry over. As for price gains ... when I say strong I don't necessarily mean gains, just price strength, with buyers coming in for sellers. Herein lies an important point. Anything we gain in the next couple of days may negate a strong surge closer to the IPO..... if the stock is less than 23 by Wednesday, I would expect a surge .... if its over 27 there's certainly not the same chance. So ... as the saying goes, be careful what you wish for (GG)!! How high can it go ... is an open question. If one sells before the IPO, 30 is the target I had in mind. If the internuts are strong over the next few days .... one might want to hold, or hold some, just in case the IPO flies. A comment I would make here is that people will leave the party before the IPO, but this stock seems quite liquid, though to my discredit I don't know the float (anyone help ??), so that may not be such a problem if the internuts are strong - best to evaluate closer to the time. I realise I haven't provided hi/med/lo's by time frame, but if I did that I would have to give so many qualifications and comments we'd both get confused !!. Now I'm sure there are other peope who are equally (or better) qualified to comment on this ... so I would be happy for any other opinions. My only other comment would be, if you have a target in mind and take a profit then be happy. Whatever happens to the stock after that shouldn't concern you too much even if it continues to appreciate. There's always another stock to play just waiting for your attention !!. Good luck all Stephen
