It is very clear that the storage business is going gangbusters, and about one third of LSI's business is now in storage. Thus, on that basis alone, LSI should see a good forward look at the CC. Additionally, DVD did extremely well this Xmas season. However, it remains to be seen how well Sony DVD did. My guess is a surprise of 5 cents this quarter.

Exactly! There was really nothing THAT wrong with the core business, in Q3 it still produced, abait with 10% less sales. In my view, there was nothing THAT wrong with Symbios or Gresham either, but both of those things were used along with 'decline in core business' to knock the stock way down.

The analysts and MM made tons of money both in commissions and trading in taking the stock down. I look forward to them making another bundle taking the stock back up. If it is as reported, storage/Symbios doing well, Gresham to plan & no nasty surprises, core business/bookings back up, then hopefully that will be the 'new' story to work the stock again.

We'll see.....
