Not that I'm aware of.

Bear in mind - with Katmai/Pentium III set to launch in less than 2 months, Intel may have "adjusted" wafer starts a while back and scaled back on Pentium II production so as to transition quickly to Pentium III without a large Pentium II "overhang".

Thus, Pentium II's may occasionally have some spot shortages or limited availability, bumping up the prices in some cases.
